Ingredients for making Citrus Detergent
- 400 grams of orange peel or other citrus fruits (it is even possible to mix them)
- 300 ml of white vinegar, an ecological multi-use product (it can be very useful for cleaning toilets, sanitary facilities, fridge, kitchen, cutting boards, windows, coffee maker, etc.)
- 800ml tap water
- 200g fine salt
Preperation
Cut the orange peels into small pieces. Put them in the blender with 400 ml of water (half of what is needed for the preparation) and mix everything.
Pour this mixture into a saucepan, along with the rest of the water, vinegar and salt. Bring to the boil and leave to boil for 10 minutes, always stirring because the preparation will tend to stick to the bottom.
Turn off the heat and if the mixture is not yet creamy, use an immersion blender to further chop the rinds and obtain a fragrant cream. .
Ingredients to prepare Citrus Degreaser
- Citrus peels
- White vinegar
- Glass jar
- Container with spray diffuser
Preperation
Cut the citrus peel into small pieces and put them in the glass jar.
Cover them with white vinegar and let sit for two weeks.
After these two weeks, remove the skins and add water in equal amounts.
Fill the diffuser with the prepared liquid and use it to clean windows, mirrors, glass and floors.
