Clean the bowl with bleach
Bleach is a cleaning product that you can’t do without at home . This is the most effective way to keep a white toilet seat totally sanitized and free of yellowish stains.
If your toilet lid is made of plastic and therefore can come off easily, simply remove it and soak it in a basin or tank.
Mix a little water with bleach in the basin or tank, following the proportion recommended on the product label.
Soak the lid in this mixture for a few minutes. When you see it’s white, it’s ready.
If your toilet lid cannot be removed easily, then you can use this mixture by applying it directly to all parts of the lid using a sponge. Leave it on for a while, then use a damp cloth to remove the product.
If you want to get rid of the smell of bleach, rub with a sponge soaked in scented soap. Then just dry off and put the lid back on.

If you don’t have bleach or if you don’t like to use it because of its strong smell, you are offered this other mixture, after cleaning the toilet seat well with a common disinfectant.
Mix 4 tablespoons of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of white toothpaste.
Take a sponge and apply this mixture all over the toilet seat. Leave it on for 10 minutes.
Then use a cloth with water to remove the mixture, dry with a dry cloth and you’re done!
White vinegar – Source: spm
Clean bowl with 2 ingredients
Also, if you have baking soda at home, but don’t have the other ingredients, you can mix it with vinegar , a natural disinfectant that will go a long way in getting your toilet back to the whiteness you want.
You will only have to mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with ½ cup of white vinegar. Spread this mixture on the lid, in all corners, using a sponge.
Leave to act as long as possible, then clean everything with a damp cloth and another dry one to finish. You can even scrub it before cleaning it, as the baking soda is abrasive and will help remove dirt.
Don’t worry about the smell of vinegar, as it dissipates very quickly. But, if you don’t want it to smell bad, finish it off with a cloth soaked in water and disinfectant. This will do the job perfectly!
