Natural tips for washing dishes

To clean the dishes properly, you can opt for natural tricks.

  • To wash dishes

If food residue seems to be embedded in your dishes, mix soapy water and coarse salt and use a sponge to scrub the dishes. If the dishes are burnt, boil white vinegar or lemon juice and pour them into the dishes. Rub to clean them optimally.

  • To wash and shine silverware

If you want to make your silverware shine, rub it with half a lemon or with toothpaste. Both of these ingredients are effective in sanitizing silverware. You can also boil cutlery in a saucepan and sprinkle baking soda on top. Then, take them out of the water and rub them with a sponge. Rinse with white vinegar and water to make them shiny.

  • For washing and degreasing pots and pans

If your pots and pans are greasy , fill them with hot water and pour in spirit vinegar. Leave to act for twenty minutes then rub with a sponge to remove the grease residues. If your pans are burnt, fill them with water and add coarse salt or baking soda. Leave to act for 45 minutes then rub with a sponge to scour them.

  • To wash and revive the shine of glasses

Over time, clear lenses can become dull. To make them shiny as new, soak them in a basin and pour in potato peelings. Leave on for ten minutes then rinse with water and white vinegar. Thanks to the action of the starch and the acidity of the vinegar, your glasses will regain their former shine. If they contain white traces of limescale, you will need to spray them with white vinegar or lemon juice  to remove them permanently .
