Do-it-yourself fertilizer
Ingredients:
- 3 drops castor oil
- 1/2 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide
- 1l of water
Preparation:
- We dilute all the ingredients together and then use the mixture obtained directly in the soil to fertilize. Our geraniums will immediately become lusher!
And to spread it?
Materials:
- Charcoal
- Geranium Cutting
- Glass to be recycled
- Rope wire
- Universal flooring
- Perlite
- Old jam jar
Preparation:
- Here’s the trick to free propagation of your geraniums! We start by taking a cut and with the help of well-disinfected scissors we are going to remove the leaves from the cut leaving only the last ones at the top.
- Now prepare a bowl that crumbles the activated charcoal and submerge the living part of the cut. This will help as a rooting hormone to the plant. Now let’s prepare the jar. Let’s take an old jar of jam and fill it with half the water. Then we take a paper cup to recycle and punch it at the bottom.
- At this point we pass inside a string of rope so that it knots well and stops so that the longest part is outside the glass. Now let’s fill it with a mixture of soil and perlite. Only at the end can we insert the cut into the glass, and then the glass into the jar so that the string touches the water.
- We wait a few weeks and our cutting will have rooted, it will only be 20 days before we can bury it in your new pot!
