It only takes one piece to have clean, shiny leaves.

Orchids are very common and appreciated plants, in fact they are often grown both at home and in the garden.

Its leaves are green and shiny, but over time they can accumulate dust and dirt like all the objects we have in the house.

The leaves of orchids are entire, alternately arranged or paired. They can be individual or in pairs, always linear. They are essential for storing water, as the orchid does not have pseudobulbs.

This plant should be watered regularly. Its fleshy leaves allow it to withstand short periods of drought. But it should not be exaggerated: the orchid has no water reserves. Finally, a lack of water can make the nutrients in the substrate harmful to the plant.

To clean them and give them shine you can use a natural ingredient.

Let’s see what it is and how to do it.

Necessary

  • 1 piece of aloe vera
  • Water
  • Knife

  1. First, cut the aloe into small pieces.

  3. Use the inner part of the aloe to rub the leaves and clean them.
  4. Don’t forget to do this even on the underside of the leaves.
  5. You can repeat this process 1 time a month.
