Aloe vera is a wonderful plant that is not only easy to care for and very beautiful, but also has countless medicinal and beneficial properties for humans. It is a practically perfect plant for your home or garden. It is considered the queen of medicinal plants and there are currently many products that contain its gel. This makes it not only the best-known medicinal plant in the world, but also the most widespread.

Aloe vera produces its own nutrients and stores them in its leaves, where the active ingredients of the plant can also be found in gel form. Aloe Vera Gel contains more than 200 different active ingredients. The gel has a viscous consistency and is quickly absorbed into the skin. It was already used in ancient times to treat wounds and burns. Its ingredients are particularly beneficial for the skin, which is why aloe vera is a widely used ingredient in cosmetic products.

The plant is also suitable for drinking (aloe vera juice). This protects the stomach and can help with constipation problems. Aloe vera is one of the easiest plants to propagate and it can always be helpful to have seedlings on hand at home. In this article we are going to see a method that allows you to easily reproduce aloe vera without spending a dollar.

Aloe vera, you only need one leaf: with this trick you can multiply it infinitely without spending a euro

A single leaf or stem can grow into a new plant within a few days. To propagate aloe vera through the leaves, start with a clean cut with a sharp knife at the base of a leaf of the main plant at least 10 centimeters long. Place the cut leaf on a clean towel and let the cutting dry for at least two days.

Sometimes the cut leaves rot instead of forming a kind of protective crust over the cut. Discard rotten leaves and only use those that have healed properly.

Place each leaf in a pot with sand and peat moss (they need porous, nutrient-rich soil) and bury only a third of the leaf. Keep the soil moist but not wet and place the pot on a sunny windowsill. The cuttings should receive bright light for at least six hours.

The cuttings should take root between a month and six weeks after cutting off the mother plant.

Once the leaves have taken root, take care of the new plants by following the tips below.

Aloe vera, if you do this, you will get a healthy and strong plant

Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out. Then, place the pot in a place where the mother plant has already grown well, or in a place that receives at least six hours of bright, indirect light every day.

Aloe needs to be watered every few days when the soil feels dry to a depth of 1 inch. After a month, the roots have stabilized enough to be transplanted into a pot 15 or 20 centimeters larger. At this point, you can water the plants much less often, but only when the top two inches of soil are completely dry.
